Wig Maintenance & Repair

From simply washing, blowdrying, cuting and styling to colouring, repairing lace, resizing caps, adding/removing hair, replacing lace frontals or closures. Ive got you covered !

It is very normal for wig hair to shed and lace to rip, colours to fade etc and as a wig maker I can make small repairs which in turn will save you from having to buy a brand new system. I can also carry out basic maintenance such as washing and styling. I can also revive (most) hair when it has been heat or style damaged

Ladies Hair Loss Systems

I offer several different hair loss systems so we can find the best one that suits you. Not all hair loss systems are suitable for all hair loss types or lifestyles and some require much more maintenance than is affordable. I offer lengthy and private consultations to find the best option for you, helping regain your confidence. I will never sell you ineffective lotions and potions that falsely promise hair regrowth.

Gents Hair Loss Systems

Hair Extensions

Nano ring, Micro ring and Copper tubes

Micro Rings, Copper Tubes, Nano Rings, Shrink Tubes and Mini Locks. These are all different types of rings or tubes that can be used to attach individual strand Hair extensions to your head without using glue.

They are all designed to slide out safely if pulled and require regular maintenance to keep your own hair at it’s best and the hair can easily be refitted. This is our favourite method for fitting our Virgin Peruvian Extensions as they can be re-worn for approx. 18 months to 2 years

Weaves and Weft Hair Extensions

Wefts are fantastic for adding thick and lush length to your hair They are very quick to fit and can be plaited in, sewn in and fitted in with micro rings (the rings are our preferred method of fitting wefts)

They work perfectly for Hair Replacement clients as they can be attached very easily to the mesh integrations in areas where you may ordinarily not be able to fit enough individual extensions in your head to get that kind of look.

Tape in Hair Extensions

Tape Extensions sit really flat to the head and are so comfortable to wear. We recommend Tape extensions as a temporary method as the maintenance is basically removing and refitting so it can be very time consuming and costly. Whilst you can wear the hair again, the hair will last much longer the tape adhesion.

The fitting tends to last approx 6 weeks. Tapes can be barely visible in fine hair but you need to remember, they are applied in pairs so there is quite a lot of weight attached to your own natural hair. This needs to be considered during consultation for suitability. Don’t let this put you off as they are a great way of achieving long locks

Unique V Light Hair Extensions

I am currently the only salon in East Yorkshire offering this new,amazing and practically invisible method of Hair Extension fitting. Fitting several fine loose hairs strand by strand to fine sections of natural hair and curing with a V Light making it virtually undetectable

This method is not designed for longevity or for full thick heads of hair. This method not only falls under the Hair Extension umberella but I would be more inclined to put it under the Hair Loss umberella. It is a new and perfect way of lightly and discreetly thickening up thinning fine hair
